The construction of large salvage hoisting ship with a lifting capacity of 4,500 tons, was set up by the Ministry of Transport and constructed by the Shanghai Salvage Bureau, which was aimed at further improving the emergency salvage ability of sunken ships and sunken articles in the East China Sea. The basic and detailed design of this project is carried out by BESTWAY and construction by SHANGHAI ZHENHUA HEAVY.

This ship is equipped with a crane, lifting capacity of 4,500 tons and S-lay pipeline reserved. Besides, it is capable of pipelaying for j-lay and r-lay pipe and installation in deep water. After completed, it mainly undertakes the task of quickly removing large sunken ships and articles in a condition of complex sea、special operating and deep depth and becomes one of the most advanced pipelay derrick vessel in the world.
