The 1800 passenger/600-car luxury ro-ro passenger ship project, built by Guangzhou Shipyard for Algeria's state-owned shipping company ENTMV, was officially launched in Nansha, Guangzhou on September 21, 2018. This is the first Sino-Arab cooperation project in luxury ro-ro passenger ship, which will start at the end of November 2018 and is expected to be delivered at the end of August 2020.

With a length of nearly 200 meters, a width of 30 meters, a speed of 30 knots, the ship can carry 600 cars and 1,800 passengers at the same time. The build time is 26 months and after delivery, the ship will be used to ply the routes from Algerian to France, Spain, Italy and others. The ship is equipped with two restaurants, two halls, children's area, prayer area, swimming pool, gym and duty-free shop; On-board hospital provide medical care for passengers.

This project becomes an important cooperation between China and Algeria in the development of marine economy and shipping interest, which plays an important role in promoting the industrial-joint between Chinese and Algeria and assisting the development of Algerian maritime adventure.
